This week in pictures we have some shots taken during the live podcast recording followed by Jonny and Richard doing some trackwork in both an Emira and inappropriately warm jackets. Then there’s those new Dyson dryers, the bit of the Ineos Grenadier design Richard thinks shouldn’t have been mimicked from the Defender, the bottle holder in a Citroen AX door and the surprisingly pleasant Genesis G80.

Official advice on calling 999 when you need more than one service

Get Smith and Sniff T-shirts like Jonny and Richard wore at Lotus (under their '90s Benetton F1 jackets)

Thinking about venues for your live gigs have you thought about the Haynes Motor Museum in Somerset? They hold functions and It would be good to have one down in the South West.

Hey Rich...did you see this short....https://youtube.com/shorts/v3GbzYteZSU?feature=share

Sorry to spoil the football joke, but Jim Ratcliffe is from Failsworth, M35.

You two were absolutely on point here, I was cracking up while listening at work!

Colin Kao

Hang on. If Sir Jim did travel to Norfolk, and was unable to resist that hand-lettered sign (done by dunking a pomeranian in tar) for the Ford's' mentioned, surely that would be the Ineos Probe.

It is, perhaps, a slightly weird hill that Richard's chosen to die on, but I see his point - old school G-Wagens are within a gnat's crochet of level when compared with the old Defender. So, by complete fluke, not 5 minutes after listening to Richard and Jonny criticising the Ineos Grenadier for having a windscreen taller than the side window line in a way a G-Wagen doesn't, I drove past a G-Wagen. And it has a windscreen that's taller than the side window line. Sorry!

Had a brilliant evening with you guys at Lotus. Shame Patreon doesn't allow me to upload pictures as the cup holder in a 2016 Mondeo happily holds a full size bottle of wine! 🤣

We drove the Touring version. But got taken on some quick laps of the track in a Sport suspension car. Which still felt pretty comfortable over the kerbs.

Baffled by all the 999 talk. Was under the impression that UK emergency services was 0118 999 881 999 119 725

Brendan McAleer

You both mentioned the Emira have a pleasantly surprising ride. Was it the Sports or Touring version?

Adam Sillett

I wanted to catch Richard to tell him I've just finished watching all 205 episodes of 24. Every season, without exception, shows Jack Bauer wearing boot cut jeans. Pretty sure they don't count as tactical clothing. Anyway, that's the message.

My takeaways from the podcast from a lifelong Norfolkian. The first is how my wife and I regularly run town names into a single syllable, for example, Fakenham turns into Faknum. The other is that not only are ploughing matches an excuse for a bunch of old men an excuse to drink beer, you also have the Trojan horse which are tractor road runs which is basically an excuse for the same group to drive old tractors to various country pubs

I love in that Official Advice link that they actually did say "if they require multiple services (not including the Coastguard)". It's like they pre-empted the podcast by nearly 4 and a half years

Tim Organo

The man you witnessed taking a sheath of cutlery had in fact a pub darts match next door but had forgotten his signature Eric Bristow darts.

Must say lads what a professional event you and lotus put on. Gone to much more effort than i expected. Serious professional set up. Sound qaulity on there and on the pod is first class. A question time type mike may be handy to get the audience participation. Well done.
