Thanks to the continuous progress we are making with the next DLC we figured that we could revive the Weekly Wednesdays posts to give everyone a bit of insight into the ongoing development leading up to the DLC release sometime this year .
It's been a while since we posted anything about the Storyteller DLC but now is as good as any time to bring the biggest news:
Animations!
Yes, that's right!
The team is working hard to create fully custom animations as part of the next DLC and in the long run we consider to spice up the existing content with additional animations too.
Due to game engine limitations this has been a nice to have content for a long time and finally we are able to make it happen.
GameMaker 2022.03 update now supports native video playback which is what we will be using to show the animations in Midnight Ride.
