About Commissions and Patreon Rewards

I hope you are safe in that quarantine. My life has not changed so much, I was already confined at home XD
The reason for this text is about the workload in this quarantine. Commission orders have increased a lot. Every week I have to move half of the people to the next week, as I can't accept them all at once, and yet I get overwhelmed every week.
As I have the commissions and the content of Patreon to maintain, it has been very difficult to handle everything on my own. To those in line, I ask you to be patient, all jobs and rewards will be delivered. As I have a lot to do, there may be a delay in delivery.
To be honest, I feel like I've lost control. Explaining how it merges: Every week, on Monday, as soon as I wake up, I check all emails and DA notes. When I know that a particular commissioner asks for very difficult things (like jobs that usually have a lot of alterations, armor or complicated backgrounds) I usually move these people over to the next week, and I accept the faster jobs to deliver.
However, in the middle of the week people come up, like patreon supporters, for example, demanding their rewards, so more work is added to a list that is already full. When a new week arrives, I didn't finish the previous week's jobs and more jobs arrive on Monday again. And the cycle is repeated.
So, once again, I ask for patience from all who are waiting, and those who have already had their requests accepted, I am trying to do my best. But to be honest, I feel tired.
It is not a complaint, I am just explaining the situation. In addition, stay safe in your home, take care.Praise the Sun.

Take all the time you'd like, 'ey. There's another couple things you may be able to implement to ease your workload: for example, requiring your Patrons to submit their art requests before the 15th day of the month, or limit the amount of top-tier folks a little bit. Either way - draw what you'd like to! The horror concepts you've been drawing recently have been splendid. Or, take a break if you need to! You put out an astounding amount of work each month, and I'm sure nobody would look at you any lesser if you'd slowed down for the sake of your health.

2020-06-02 21:15:32 +0000 UTCYour art truly is worth the wait. But you need to set limits man. We don't wanna read a message saying you're in the hospital or anything.

2020-06-02 20:32:11 +0000 UTCYour stuff's worth waiting for! If you need to put some kind of limit on commissions per week to stay sane feel free to do so. We all understand.

2020-06-02 17:03:10 +0000 UTCDude you really should consider changing the way you do comms. Put limits on how many you take, open less frequently etc. I agree with Jack's ideas, you don't want to burn yourself out on work. For extra complicated armor and stuff for comms, are you at least charging extra? And if it's one person constantly, put them on a cooldown! Its perfectly ok if they're putting that much more work in your hands.

2020-06-02 13:48:27 +0000 UTCThat's understandable, as much as someone may say that its easy for me to say when I've not asked for a single commish or such. But do practice some reasonability.

2020-06-02 13:36:48 +0000 UTCBy all means Osmar take all the time you need, or just say no. If you can't do something that week just say no is all. But there are other things you can also do too decrease your workload, like only accepting commissions every first and third monday of the month. That means that for the first batch you will have 2 weeks same as for the second. But you can also put a limit on your images like only accepting 5 or something on the days your open for them, you already move mountains of work for patreon and I know how fast you can do your images. But the pressure about it can't be healthy for you, you need too put yourself first. Because if you destroy yourself doing these images then nothing gets done anymore. I try an pace myself now a days waiting with comms from you and otherwise waiting for you too post that you wont take comms till x date. I always say you can take as long as you like for them but maybe having to work from week too week is too much?
