I first thought, that baby has a dirty moith…mum needs to wipe it with spit on a tissue…but after listening to your commentary I noticed that there are points of sharp focus juxtaposed by “lens bokeh” from the Japanese ボケ (暈) the physics behind this would confound my attempt to use this craft in any way that resembles how Da Vinci makes this painting both warm and emotionally peaceful. So instead I can value the effect of sharpness and smoky “haze” without restriction and to guide the eye to behold the whole painting. It’s remarkable and motivating to see where this can emerge in my own expression. I guess that these lesser known works of Da Vinci work well for me to understand what you might have me learn. I don’t like these paintings either, but I can’t deny the subtle genius that attracts me to contemplate what makes this work so much beyond what I can do, but you have given me a point of departure to adopt and own those multiple
