Hey!
Progress continues onto our next update! In the meantime, Haruka decided to take some sneaky and spicy pics for us.
So, I'll try to keep doing these 'dev talks' on a weekly basis to talk about how things are going, either through some sneak peeks or just a regular dev diary, and it's way better to have a diary with some nice pictures attached to them!
Progress has been good, now that I'm focused on just doing the events, I can really start to see how much is being done, and how much is left. So far, there's two big events that have been done already, and the main story beats for the others have been written down.
(Small Spoiler) With the way things are looking, we should expect about two events for Ayumi, two events for Maiya, and one event for Haruka. As well as some other small encounters that will happen around the Academy to further develop how it feels and how they tie in to the gameplay loop. And finally a big event at the end of the update, that is going to bring it all to a nice conclusion to set up for the next update.
One thing I've been doing a lot as well is animations. I don't like how the Koikatsu animations look, as they're quite inexpressive and there can be a lot of clipping with the models, so I've been trying to dabble into animating myself. Currently, there was only one animation which was a Koikatsu animations (The Emiko Blowjob at the Intro), the others have all been done by me, and while some of the early ones look stiff and robotic, I think I've been on a constant improvement to it. And I've been somewhat happy with the last animations on the Haruka office scenes.
Recently, I've worked a lot on upcoming animations, and have done 4 really detailed ones and 2 small ones, with more to come, and I gotta say, each one of them looked better than the last one, which is a great sign, as it shows I've been improving and quality is only going to increase from here.

This is just to highlight some of the attention to details I've been giving to the animations, which, I think, make them really stand out and look good. Those small things, and facial expressions go a long way!
On another note, I think I'll use some of these more 'detailed' renders, such as the one in this post and the ones on the last dev diary, to show up in-game somehow. Since I usually do these for practicing mostly, I might as well find some use for them. For now, I think I'll show them when the days pass, while showing what the current day is going to be.
