BOM May 2021 Update

We've had some noisy works going on in and around the shed for a few weeks which meant filming has been nigh on impossible. We've filled a large skip full of scrap that was littering the place including the sad looking Celica shell that gave its guts to the mini.
During the dry build phase we concentrated on getting stuff to fit and to (hopefully) work. We didn't give too much thought to what the best fasteners were, so now that we're bolting it together, those bolts that held that thing on perfectly well but are actually too long and stick through into the carpet are no good at all. And the few things that might have been fudged for a good shot in the video but need re-making for the final assembly have come back to bite us.
Oh, and the spaghetti that is the wiring loom... Well the less said about that the better.
We're flat out filming episode 35 now and all being well, we will actually fire it up in a couple of weeks.

Let me guess, slide-out sections. No, wait, this is a BoM project. Electric motor driven slide-out section? With a bathroom. And a under-floor mounted electric generator with batteries. And disco lights. And an electric cable pull and ramp for loading cars into the back. And blind-spot cameras. Close enough for a cigar?
