Hamada Washi, a 150-year tradition of Japanese paper making - Paper Trail

Hello everyone,

The start of the year has been a bit busier than we first expected and we have been (and still are for a couple of weeks or so) stuck on a few client projects.

Today we're sharing a video that we made a few years back, when we headed over to Kochi to meet Hironao and Osamu Hamada, two brothers and heirs to a 150-year tradition of Japanese paper making, after years spent in training with their grandfather Sajio Hamada.

This video was made as part of the New Territories project, and the reason we are sharing it is that we would like to consider making more videos around Japanese craftsmen in the future, and would like to hear your thoughts.

Additionally, we will be sharing tomorrow another Patreon post where we would like to develop a bit more on what we want to aim for next. Meanwhile, we hope you'll enjoy the video!

Thank you for your support!

Thanks for the feedback. Length of text on screen is definitely something we have put more attention to in our recent videos; we want to make sure everything is clearly readable!

New Territory videos are some of my favorite ones you guys do. My only complaint not only for this video but many of your others is the amount of time you have text on the screen is way too short. A good rule is if you cant read all the text out loud before it goes away its not enough time on screen. I know thats a little nit picky but honestly that is my only complaint about any of your work.
