Also, Idaho has a pretty large Hispanic population due to all the migrant workers. So chimichangas being commonplace in Idaho is not surprising to me.

As someone who lived near Preston Idaho for 2 years and has a ton of family in Idaho, they're portrayal is pretty accurate.

Just a comment on Michael's aside that he didn't think Napolean's dance would actually win people over. I went to a very small high school(less than 200 student( and the most awkward, socially rejected guy entered the talent competition. Everyone laughed when he first came out but he started singing and it was amazing. When it was over everyone went nuts applauding. So, unlikely, but not impossible.
