Ferrari F50 (1995) WIP

Just when I thought I had this in a good place... πŸ˜†

Well, a fellow modder, pl4sma2389, pointed out that while I play with the Mph version, the default version released is in Km/h. As you guys know, you can switch between the Km/h, Mph and Jandrovi's (also in Km/h) Historically Accurate version.

But now, if you choose the correct extension folder in the mod, you can also choose to have more accurate Km/h or Mph gauges! This is possible due to pl4sma2389's clever idea to load the separate textures in-game via CSP. I've used a few details from his example and made both textures, alphas and normal maps needed, and wrote the ext_config.ini to match. So in the CM_Showroom we can see the displays with all lit. But in-game it will be Km/h only.

However, for virtual racers like me that like to race in Mph, you have this option to see Mph gauges version. All you will need to do is copy/paste the data_m.acd and extension_m, delete the stock Km/m data.acd and extension. Then, rename the copies of the data_m.acd and extension_m to data.acd and extension, done! It's a minute effort, and I've worked a whole day to make this happen for us using Imperial Units.

All in release v2.3! πŸ™‚

Oh and pl4sma2389 may work on a super accurate and realistic set of gauges you can pair up with Jandrovi's Historical version if he finds the time. Either way, big thanks to him for reaching out to me and for his excellent idea. Cheers! πŸ‘
