This wrench is SPECIFICALLY for your antennas

SMA connectors have a torque spec. This wrench torques them to exactly the right tightness. Except that I bought the wrench made for stainless steel SMA connectors, not brass ones. So it's over-tightening them like crazy. Well, anyway, let's see what happens.

SPECIFICALLY for your antennas.... well not specifically because i got the wrong one, but its for your antennas... well not those antennas because it"ll strip them out, but its for someones antennas!

this wrench is exactly 3 years too late. quads dont use SMA anymore and goggles are largly built in.

Can't have that egress lol

This is a problem I've been trying to solve for a couple of months. I have a Nazgul 5 that gets terrible range with the 03 and has those double SMA antennas. I can't get a good wrench hold on them because of the placement of the antennas in the 3D printed antenna holder. I don't know if this wrench will help, but I feel less crazy now knowing it really does require more tightening then I have so far managed. Sometimes just knowing your hunch is probably correct helps to find the solution, so thanks! Maybe soon I can figure out how to get it to fly out farther than my Cinebot 30 with one stubby antenna!

I thought for sure that connector was gonna pop off the power meter. 😬 So, what's the proper torque for brass sma connectors?

Link please?

I was just reading about this a few days ago. Was deciding whether or not to keep antenna's on my goggles or leave them on. I think they are rated to max 500 cycles...not a lot!
