Everstone Daycare - Progress Report [April 25, 2022]

Howdy everyone!

The month is coming to a close, and there have been a few sudden developments that I've been dealing with for the past week. I wanted to give everyone an update on what's happening with the next demo, because plans have changed a little bit compared to what I reported in the last progress report.

The biggest change has been that I have re-taken the responsibility of writing the story for this month's demo and have spent the last week trying my best to pen down a story. I mentioned last week that Spooky would have full responsibility for all the writing needed this month while I would focus on programming in the new features we had planned to include. After some discussion and a test run of how this arrangement would go, we've both decided that It would be best if I returned to being the one to do the writing. As such, that means that both the journal and the patrol system I planned to program in will have to be delayed until next month as I need to spend what time I have left trying to finish the story.

I apologize again for the delay. I might end up cutting it close when releasing the demo this month again despite my attempts at changing a few things on how we share responsibility and the work I planned to do. This is a bit of a shorter progress report, but above all else, I will want to reassure people that we are still working on the demo!
