Of course we can't know anything about anyone on the show for sure, including their motivations for being a contestant, but speculating is still interesting, so thanks for weighing in! At this point with Leo I tbh feel like I'll just treat him like any other participant. He hasn't totally caught me personally yet, although he is definitely talented, but I won't stop myself from liking him either. If he grows on me, then sure, maybe I'll even end up voting for him. But also definitely understand all perspectives on him, yeah. I feel like all performances could've definitely been shown somehow, at least in short compilations, like they did with some of the bad ones. Make a compilation of the good ones as well! At least they could make more viewers check out the full cams of people who caught their interest. Sucks that anyone who doesn't get shown is basically doomed from the beginning. About Junseo, I am definitely just heavily biased due to my love for him lol. I've now seen the full cam of his performance and yeah... not great honestly. If he was anyone else, then I wouldn't be voting for him yet, but oh well. I do like the storyline he seems to be getting and I hope he does better in performances going forward. About Yumeki, I don't think I ever mentioned this in my reactions, but I actually agree about not loving his style of dancing. He's definitely technically super talented, duh, but again especially after seeing his full cam, he has a very distinct style that doesn't totally vibe with me. Thanks for letting me know about Chris, now that you mention it it does sound familiar, but yeah ig it doesn't thankfully really matter now. And now to the second part. I will be looking up the Cho PD thing, thanks for telling me. There's just overall so many weird choices this season lol. Maybe it's because we're watching this live so we don't know what gonna happen in the future yet, but I just feel like everything was a lot more cohesive and logical in season 1. The whole signal song test was way too long last time imo, but at least we saw everyone who we had seen do well in episode 1 as far as I remember. And of course there was no audience ranking. I also feel like it's really stupid on the show's part to not tell the viewers beforehand that the fancam views would lead to people's eliminations. Cause then at least more people would've streamed their favs or smth. Like this it just makes no sense to say it was an audience 'evaluation' when nobody evaluated anything. Doing 40-40 from each planet would've been so much better for sure! And I didn't think about this before but it would make sense if they came up with this signal song elimination on the spot when the decision to merge the shows was made. Would explain a lot of the weirdness honestly. Interesting top 8s once again! And honestly I haven't watched part 2 of the C episode yet... I keep putting it off cause I know it's just gonna be horrible... But I guess I have to make two top 8s after watching it then, I didn't even know that the voting had merged, although yeah it does make sense! (C planet part 1 coming tomorrow btw) :)

This is then also combined with the fact that they have huge time pressure and are in a pretty harsh environment. I really don't know how they expect some of them to still be confident, even tho I do understand, of course, that it is important. It is definitely really interesting to see who got screen time in this episode and who didn't. I do am growing to really like Na Yunseo and Kim Taejo and I am interested to see more of Kim Inhu. I do also kinda know Yunseo from Loud, he wasn't in the show for too long, though (Kim Donghyun B was also in that show btw and got pretty far). Also, it is kinda crazy that he even was in that show because he was 12 at that time. It's interesting how we did, I think, not see Kim Jaehyun at all in this ep. They were so funny in the first episode together. I do want to encourage you to look up the company that Taejo and Yechan are under. Their CEO, Cho PD, does not have a good reputation at all when it comes to managing groups. I'm a bit worried for them because of that and lots of people are also saying that voting for them would not be good. I do wish they would have shown how they choose the rappers and dancers in the signal song. I wanted to see more of Donggyu and Yoonmin and that would have been a good opportunity. Also, it would have been great to see Hsu Chingyu and Yumeki together. I really don't know why Chinyu got like no screen time. The evaluation for the last star ranking is just really weird. I do believe that some people definitely streamed the signal song videos but I would think that it was mostly for those that are already known or those that got popular for their visuals. It really does not make sense for them to add that star creator evaluation into it. I wish that it would have been just the mentors deciding it, even if i sometimes don't agree with them. Like they totally also could have made the amount of K and C the same that way, like maybe only choosing 40 people in total for each planet. Fewer people would definitely have been better, but I guess they just had so many since it was supposed to be two groups in the start and they could have not just uninvited like half off the trainees. It did seem really spontaneous for them to only make one group, interested to see why and when they decided it. Maybe it is kinda for the better tho cause the mismanagement of the final c group could have been really bad. I do am also wondering if they wanted to do the eliminations from the start or if it was really because they had too many people. Now to my Top 8: I also thought that we would still choose our top 8 for both C and K group but I guess it makes sense that it is already merged. I did do a new top 8 for K group too though, but I do have to say that it would look different if this was still about voting. If this was about voting, I would have probably switched my last two for Junil and Yoonmin. Maybe I would have even voted for Haneum or Inhu but not so sure. My overall top 8 rn is: Lee Sangwon, Lee Leo, Yoo Kangmin, Park Donggyu, Sen, Sun Hengyu, Fan Zheyi and Chen Kaiwen. This has again not really any ranking in it but my top 8 for K and C do have a ranking, even tho I am not sure about it at all. My K top 8: 1. Lee Sangwon I have to say that I am extremely biased when it comes to Sangwon, I really really like him and he probably will not leave my top 8 at all in the course of this show. I do also think, though, that he should not have gotten 3 stars. Not sure why they did it, because if this is just about favoritism, then I also don't think it makes sense because it also is just reflecting badly on the trainees (Like I also think of it that way with Yumeki). I do, of course, know that they are pushing him a lot, ig he is kinda the replacement for Geonwoo. 2. Lee Leo Love his voice! From what we have seen, he also did really well. I am really interested to see more performances of him. 3. Yoo Kangmin I am not sure at all if he will stay up here. For now I will keep him because I really like him, but we also have not seen too much of him this episode. Also, yes, what happened to his arm? Why did they not address this at all? 4. Park Donggyu Well, we also have not seen much of him in this episode, but I guess he did really well because he got an All Star again. I do just really like him for some reason, also definitely not sure if he will stay in my top 8, ig it depends on what more we see of him or if I am starting to like someone else more. 5. Kim Junseo Like I said, this part of the episode really changed my mind. I really did not think he would join my top 8 tho for some reason even before the show started. But now I do love him a lot, he seems so sweet. I definitely think that I maybe was a bit too harsh when watching his first performance for the first time. I definitely am interested to see more performances of him. He is reminding me a lot of Jiwoong. Not sure if he will ever join my overall top 8 but I would definitely not be mad if he makes it into the group. 6. Masato I just really like him for some reason. Loved to see him together with Junseo too. Again I'm also not sure if he will stay in my K top 8, if I even will do one again, or even if he will join my overall top 8. He definitely has potential, It will all just be depending on how much I like his performances. 7. Kang Woojin I was also surprised to see him get, like, no screen time. It could definitely be because of the company issue, because, like, yes, it was not his fault at all, but I think some did hate on him for that. The only other reason I could think of is, is that they maybe did not want us to see him do bad? Not sure at all, tho. Maybe he actually is struggling a lot because of the dancing or maybe it was also just too much pressure. Ig we will see how he does in the next performance. 8. Chuei Liyu I was really debating if I should add him but since this is not about voting ig it does not really matter. I just really like him but I am not sure at all if his skills rn are enough. Ig this will again just really be decided on how well he does in the next performance. Its so interesting to see how different our tastes in K group are haha. Not sure if I'm looking forward to the second episode of C too much but I'm definitely interested to see what you have to say about it. I am just really happy that this part of the show is over and I'm really excited for the new episode this week! :)
