I've added support for listing your session publicly at https://xtoys.app/sessions. For now anyone can make their session public...but I imagine I'll soon have to restrict it to only logged in users to prevent spam attacks.
Stroker Updates
Alright! I'm finally working on actually making XToys work okay with stroking/position control toys!
So far I've added the ability to drag the entire stroke length slider. So for example setting the stroke length to 0-50% and then dragging that 50% up and down.
And I've reworked how Basic Patterns work so that it's now possible to create position control patterns.
My next plan is to re-design how the Scripted Patterns work to use the same overall designer as the Basic Pattern, but with custom variables and such. The current way Scripted Patterns work is completely incompatible with position controls, and it's also unnecessarily complex. I imagine completing this version 2.0 of Scripted Patterns is probably going to take me a couple weeks on its own but it should be worth it since it'll enable things like randomized stroke depth.
I also want to tackle having Scripts be able to set a stroke depth.
And lastly I might tackle how to have speed patterns control stroke depth.
This will also all probably force me to implement the new API for The Handy.
Public Layouts
I'm planning this weekend to work on making it possible to publish entire saved layouts. I'm hoping that will make it so that instead of needing to give a long string of instructions to people for how to connect scripts and bots and such they can instead be given a direct link to a pre-setup layout and just connect their toy and be ready to go.
