Hourly Comic Daaaaaay!!
Added 2023-02-02 17:39:10 +0000 UTCFebruary 1st is the cartoonist holiday known as Hourly Comic Day! Some people love it, some people hate it, I adore it so I try to do it every year.
Last year I spent HCD in Denmark; this year was a typical Wednesday at home, so it's good and boring, just the way you like it.
Since I was asked so much: the book is Secret Ceremonies by Deborah Laake, which was written in the 90s. Trashy Tell-All is my new favorite guilty pleasure genre.
(I think there's another mouse in the house. -_- )
Wednesday delivery is for dried fruits and nuts. Reader, I was MORTIFIED.

A bit petty of me to put this guy on blast, but like... his voice is big and booming and as clear as a bell and guess what is THE ONE JOB that kind of voice is not good for.
On the plus side, it made me super appreciate my quiet studio!

Fennel curling up with me in front of the heater every night has become our sweet little routine! I'm glad she's fallen into a pattern here already. :.)
