If you were following here on Patreon when this chapter came out, you may notice a few small color shifts. I was really just getting my feet on the ground during this chapter, and I felt it deserved a few updates. If you catch 'em, I'll be impressed. ;)

Good catch! I actually want to redraw that "music" to look more similar to the chapter that follows it, for continuity.

It's the colors of my memories of my maternal grandmother's house and my earliest recollections, wandering as a toddler in the backyard of a Tucson military base. It deepens the poignancy of her invisibility and makes the perfect background to contrast Nicole against. Genius!
