I don't think I need to explain why this week's update will be another late Monday night one.

Miranda GET YOUR ASS OUT OF THIS PARTY I can't color this many people every week!!

Pot is stronger but you develop resistance the same way. Daily stoners are no more debilitated than ever.

Gary Walker

If this comic had been a 90s movie...

Danielle Corsetto

Thank YOU for the inspiration, party queen!

Danielle Corsetto

It is SO much stronger, from what I've heard! I've heard guys who grew up in the 70's taking hits from friends of mine a decade or so ago, and being beside themselves by how strong it is. In contrast, those same friends are now dabbling (lol) in whatever The Kids are taking these days, and it's knocking them on their asses the same way their old pot was knocking over the old 70s guys. Which makes me think I might have actually taken to weed if I'd been born a few decades earlier and tried it in the 70s. I don't know how anyone functions on the stuff people smoke now.

Danielle Corsetto

I did boooooth wuhuhuhuh!!

Danielle Corsetto

You can do it!

Pot back then had lots of leaves and stems with few buds that have the THC, so it was weaker then now when a person can buy it with all buds and no junk used a filler.

OMG! What if someone accidentally bumps into Miranda, she bumps her head & her friend turns her into THE party girl??!? What if her "life motto" suddenly becomes "Whoo hoo!!"? One never knows what life may bring!

Tom McGrath

Damn, that's a GOOD party scene!!

Cab

Really? Pot must be stronger these days than back in the 70's!

Regardless of generation (I'm definitely old), I have a hard time imagining anyone *walking* around after more than one bong hit -- they tend to pour into chairs or corners pretty quickly!

David Neale-Lorello

I’m getting old (and I’m boring). Do that many people walk around with bongs at parties now?

Gary Walker

I had to look up Evan Dorkin but until I got my search result I was imagining Where's Waldo 😆

You just need one simple line of dialogue from any character anywhere: "Aw, darn it! We've somehow just blown a fuse on this old house and it's unlikely that we'll be able to replace it until after this whole scene is over!" Then, just dab some bluish-white underlighting on the faces peering at those three phones and bob's-yer-uncle. If you're feeling guilty about slacking off, you can toss in closeup shot right at the top: someone complains about the air quality and someone else apologizes and says they'll switch on the dehumidifier and it's super-powerful so it ought to knock down the humidity in no time.

Andy Ihnatko

Wow! You're challenging Evan Dorkin for the title of Greatest Amount Of Foreground To Background Detail In A Single Panel!

Andy Ihnatko

Do the gradient shit!!!! You've already given them some nice shading, you maniac, you!!

Wouldn't blame you for a second.

MaryAnne Glazar

Don't say that before you find out whether I color every character, or give up and make the whole thing monochrome with a nice gradient!

Danielle Corsetto

You're a goddamn hero!
