That eyeball page was funnnnn (to draw, not to color!!).

Welp, I guess this is how Miranda wakes up! Nicole peeps in every window in town, it's called a HOBBY.

Yeah, not really lovin' Nicole's whole vibe. Too pushy.

Theadora

It's 80s! :-D (and hideous, and yes, I love it too.)

Theadora

I love that Nicole's still got her lil ole belly button showing, though. I do *not* love how casually she's fucking with Miranda's head. I'd be so groggy and cranky that I'd be saying things I'd later regret.

Space invader.

That is so cool, to have the actual house to refer to for your story. I have been in, what might be called a brownstone, that was divided up into apartments. Very small, but studios, to be sure. It is amazing how large houses were in the 1800s, but then families were larger too. It could have been for a very large family, when it was originally built. Thanks for the links.

ONE LAST REPLY as I dig up deets on this place! The plot thickens: one listing claims it was built in 1800: https://www.homesnap.com/WV/Shepherdstown/304-W-German-Street/property/18938033 while this one claims 1925! https://www.longandfoster.com/multifamily-for-sale/304-West-German-Street-W-Shepherdstown-WV-25443-252792040 Based on the details I've seen inside (doors, windows, etc.) I'm thinking it's an 1800's building with some updates from the 1900s.

(And in case you're curious, here's an old listing for Berto's apartment! https://www.apartmentlist.com/wv/shepherdstown/304-west-german-street )

I had to look up when the Victorian era was exactly to answer this! The actual house this is based on looks to be about a century+ old, so that sounds about right... although, the house itself is bizarre. There doesn't appear to be a "front" to it. I'm not sure when it was split up into apartments, but after being in there a few times, I can't imagine how it was arranged as a full home! It's possible it was built to be a college building (it's very close to campus), which would clear up the "how the hell was this ever a house" question. ;)

Oooh that sounds like a terrifying treat!!

It's based on a REAL ACTUAL windbreaker from the 90s! If I can find it I'll share it later!

The tucked in ski jacket is AUDACIOUS.

Cab

Nicole has a fly jacket and zero chill.

Gary Walker

Nicole needs to relax. The eyeball panel looks fantastic

Meisterj

Ouhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I came for the eyes and you did not disappoint! Reminds me of a room in MeowWolf in Santa Fe, a cave with eyes in the walls. Deliciously spooky. Will ogle more tomorrow on a big screen when *my* eyes aren't so tired.

Melody

HOBBY! :-)

Pavel Curtis

Paper shades. Lets the light in and keeps prying eyes out.

Lee McCarthy

Nicole's jacket is hideous, I love it.

Dean Reilly

Nicole needs to learn about boundaries.

Hugh Eckert

hahaha I hate having the curtains open for this reason, but natural light is free, dilemma

Is it like a Victorian that has been divided up into apartments?
