I have THREE THINGS to share that don't really belong together, but three separate posts is two too many! So here we go!
INTERN TAKEOVER starting TOMORROW!
Have I even MENTIONED that I had interns this semester?? I had interns! Two very talented former students of mine from the Graphic Storytelling Workshop in Denmark did a virtual internship with me, and to punctuate their internship, they're going to introduce their webcomics to you!
Josephine will introduce her NSFW webcomic "My Girlfriend Won't Moan" tomorrow morning (don't worry, the introduction will be SFW!), and Embryu will share her comic "Pickled Punks" on Friday.
Their comics are two radically different genres, and quite different from my work, but even if it's not your thing, I think you'll find yourself endeared to some aspect of both of them. :) Please prepare a warm welcome for them!

TRASH HEROES: DnD with five webcomic goobers!
In case you missed it, I'm joining some of my fellow "Old Guard" webcomics nerds in a DnD campaign called Trash Heroes! Jeph, Randy, Alina, Peter and I are livestreaming the campaign every-other Saturday (so, this coming Saturday the 24th), moderated by Alina's charming partner Layne. I dunno who wants to spend FOUR HOURS watching us play DnD, but if it's you, I've got some links for you!
The first TWO HOURS of our first session can be found here (you can skip the first 1:30 of tech workarounds!), and if you want THE NEXT TWO HOURS you can find them here!
We'll be meeting up at 6 pm Eastern this Saturday (we nudged it up an hour) if you wanna join us for our second session! You can watch live on Twitch at this URL (thank you kaitou!).
DAN BERRY!!
You might already follow Dan Berry (yes, very smart, good!) but if you don't, he's an EXTRAORDINARY cartoonist I met last year while I was teaching in Denmark, and he hosts a series of interviews with fellow cartoonists called Make It Then Tell Everybody. He interviewed me once last year, and a couple weeks ago we recorded a chat about teaching that I forgot to share with you.
UNTIL NOW.
Here's the link to our teaching talk!
Dan taught at the college level for years (a decade?!) before he went full-time as an artist, so he's got TONS of experience. Teaching is one of the hardest jobs I've ever had, and I wanted to pick his brain about it. So rather than answer my questions via text, we decided to chat and record it so we could share it with everyone. If you're interested in some teaching philosophy, you might enjoy it!
Alright, that's three things, so my job here is done! Hope you enjoy Josephine & Embryu's updates tomorrow & Friday!
