Elephant Town Chapter 6 (pages 22-23)

Scene change to Paul baby-talking the cat outside: "Who's a pussy? WHOOOO'S A  PUSSYYYY"

Hey, good job, you made it through another chapter of Paul! He'll only get ??????er from here (no spoilers). Next week we'll pick back up with Berto and Meighan. :)

There's a possibility that hello in today's update seems familiar. And since most of you are here from Girls With Slingshots and I know a lot of you have eagle eyes for tiny details, you might be wondering if that tiny door next to Paul manifested out of nothing. I assure you, I just forgot to draw it in the last update. (It'll get drawn in before it goes to print!)

We'll have a couple of guest artists dropping by later this week, by the way - not for Elephant Town, but for their own wonderful work. I'll explain soon. I think you'll like them. :)

Dooooooooom

I definitely forget things in the course of reading at a webcomic pace. When I went back and archive binged a different comic for a wiki, everything became SO OBVIOUS, especially once I was taking elaborate notes =o

Minzoku Bokumetsu

I am pretty sure that he is the neighbour whose windows look into her bedroom, though neither of them are aware of this (yet).

Dean Reilly

Waitaminnit. He and Kris have adjoining apartments? UGH UGH UGH UGH UGH for her!

Ruth Merriam

I really don't think Jamie could be confined. Not without a safeword, anyhow ๐Ÿ™‚

Pete Jordan

oh god what if Paul has Jamie locked in a cupboard (I really missed the train on that April Fool's crossover opportunity)

Danielle Corsetto

When I saw that โ€œHelloooooโ€, I confess my first thought was Jamieโ€ฆ

Pete Jordan

What an amazing call-back! And I also thought he had someone locked up in there. Whew!

Cab

Hmmm..., I thought "pussier" was spelled with only 5 '?'s...

kaitou

Almost every connection in here is spaced out in a way that'll be (I hope!) a pleasant callback to something you'll remember reading when it's in book form. And it'll be so much easier to just flip back a few pages, rather than hunting through Patreon's abysmal archiving system!

Danielle Corsetto

Meep!

Not in that cupboard, anyway

Jon Guyer

For a moment, I was terrified that Paul had an old woman locked in his cupboard! Paul still terrifies me but at least he isn't holding some old woman hostage.

Are You Being Served? is a classic.

My god, thank you for linking back to that earlier update! I had *totally* forgotten about that episode. (One assumes that, if I were reading this in a published volume instead of at the somewhat slower rate of production, then it would *definitely* have been clear to me. That is what *this* one assumes... ๐Ÿ™„)

Pavel Curtis

Does the cat answer back, "myooooo"?

NJGR

Mrs. Slocombe's cat?
