That wraps up chapter five! It only took nine months to make a callback to chapter one!
Thank you for sticking with this slow-ass, molasses-burn comic. :) The next chapter will start tying things together a little. I'm excited to get back to Paul (as skeptical as you may be about that).
By the way, someone kindly messaged me to remind me that I'd originally promised to post the first four chapters as free public posts. (Thank you! I suck at replying, sorry!) Well I'm stretching that out to chapter six, so stick around!
Oh, and tomorrow (today) (technically) is Hourly Comic Day! I'll probably post dumb hourly comics on my Instagram, but I'll collect them all and post them here for patrons afterwards so you don't have to go hunting. There Will Be Cats.

Heck, dramatic removal of glasses to reveal greater beauty is practically a trope in itself. And while Dreamguy's brows are darker than his hair, that's about the only difference. The face shape is the same, the general shape of the hair. (Boyfriend's seems to be thinning a bit more but again, idealized.) I stand by my analysis until contradicted by Danielle.

I had to flip between pages a couple of times to make sure it was supposed to be the same guy, and I'm still kinda flabbergasted at how you made him significantly more 'realistic' and at the same time exactly in your style still. It's a super couple of pages, is what my non-artsy brain is trying to say. And thanks for making them!
