Elephant Town Chapter 4 (pages 10 & 11)

Elephant Town, the comic where it takes a month for the sun to set. ;)

Seriously though, thanks for letting me take my time with these. The next update will also only be two pages because I've got a lot of extra projects going this month (if you're a $5 patron you know at least one of them!). But, they'll be worth the wait. :)

Oooh are you a local? We'll be seeing more of this guy next time we see Miranda. ;)

That dishwasher looks familiar!

I'm exhausted just viewing these panels. What a long, busy day. Days? Is this the same day as the previous panels? I'm so glad that there's a dishwasher taking care of the cleanup so Miranda can go home. She's slumping in that next to last last panel. I want to give her a shoulder rub. OTOH, how wonderful that the tea shop is so popular! Loving the color palette and the way the shadows move through the day and the shop and reflect through all of the glass surfaces.

Beautiful!

I was drawn in by the background extending up between the panels in the second page. I was like, wait, there isn't usually something here -- what is that? And scrolled down to reveal the full background page, which is absolutely gorgeous.

I really like this wordless storytelling. I'm glad you're taking your time with it.

ahhh, the sense of peace, even with the sense of movement. <3 And even the dishwasher seems happily occupied. :-)

Ah I'm so glad you noticed that! I wasn't sure if anyone would catch it. ;)

Ooh, I love the passage of time shown just by the angle of the shadow changing in those three panels of Miranda carrying the dishes and glasses back and forth, that's so clever!

Katie McMahon

Always worth the wait. :)

Amy Crook

It's worth the wait.
