Hey friends!

Wanted to share an event coming up this Monday I'm really excited about! It's part of a bigger project I've been co-producing since last July when I saw the stunning documentary Fantastic Fungi and felt inspired to dream up some way to be more involved. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it! That inspiration led to bringing artists together with songs inspired by the film and connectivity of the mycelial network, reimagining how we can create a more harmonic world with ourselves, each other, and the earth. Now nearly a year later, the album, Fantastic Fungi: Reimagine is about to be born (singles released through early August followed by the full album).

We're celebrating the launch of the album on Unify (livestream through Facebook live) this Monday, June 29 @ 5pm PST / 8pm EST, featuring interviews with the Fantastic Fungi and Reconsider teams including Louie Schwartzberg and Paul Stamets, with performances by Beautiful Chorus and yours truly, plus many more wonderful guests. I'm truly excited and inspired by everything about this project and all the folks involved. I'll be on toward the end, (it's about an hour and 30 minutes - 2 hours total) so closer to 6:30pm PST / 9:30pm EST or so, but the whole event is bound to be wonderful if you can catch it.

I was planning to debut my new song inspired by the film and today's world, it hasn't been heard by anyone outside of my piano yet... but alas: a heavy piano at home + no wifi means I'll be doing a guitar song instead now because I can carry it. Soooooooo perhaps I'll just have to share a video of my new song with you here soon (if you'd like). :)
