GWS Bonus Strip: Our Boobies Are Magic
Added 2018-01-02 05:29:44 +0000 UTCHappy 2018, guys!! I'm pushing to finish the last few bonus strips for the GWS books before I leave for Denmark on Friday; I just finished coloring this one. Fresh off the coloring presses for ya.
If you wanna read it in context, you'll want to start here at #1542 - the bonus strip happens right after Jamie tells Fiona that her boobs are so magical she has to cover them up if she wants to score a successful date with Tucker. (It goes right after this strip, where Clarice rolls her eyes at Tucker on the phone.)
I'd always wanted to go back and clear up Jamie's intentions when she told her sis to cover up; she wasn't body-shaming! She was merely trying to help her save the world from melting into a puddle around her. (Unless that's what she wants.)
And now when you re-read the old strips, knowing their backstory, I hope you'll see the effect that the McJack rack has had on people a little differently. ;)

The funny thing is that this popped up between the last two parts of the Questionable Content arc with Hannelore and Tilly, and needless to say "Boobies are magic" startled me some as I scrolled down without paying enough attention.

2018-01-02 16:52:57 +0000 UTCI just imagined the "these are not the droids you're looking for" scene in "Star Wars" except instead of Obi-Wan waving his fingers, it's Jamie giving her exposed cleavage a little shake. I am disappointed in myself but not displeased.
