Hey y'all! I'm still teaching here in Viborg, Denmark and I have been EXHAUSTED all week! Despite that, I've taken every single opportunity to socialize with the other teachers and the absurdly talented, friendly, karaoke-crazed students that has been extended to me thus far.
Last night there was a class dinner downstairs, where a few of the students prepared BEAUTIFUL open sandwiches, a traditional Danish meal. I left my phone in my room since I don't have a data plan anyway, but I wish I'd brought it to take photos - the meal was an aesthetic delight!
So here instead is my sketchbook, which I took out after one of my students generously served me a few white Russians and led us to a party at his girlfriend's flat. Sometime after 3 an older gentleman who lived on the floor below came in and walked through the crowded hallways, and firmly insisted that the party be over, and that was that. I walked home in the rain with my student Simao (I didn't know where we were), and passed out around 4.
Thursday night I went to the most dynamic figure drawing session I've ever experienced; $5+ patrons, I'll share my drawings with you shortly! Education Level patrons, I'm pasting the slides together for your first lesson; with any luck I'll have those up tomorrow. :)
