Figure Drawing Niiiiight!
Added 2016-10-20 22:40:26 +0000 UTCI was out sick earlier this week, but I was DETERMINED to get well enough to make it to at least ONE figure drawing evening, and last night was it!
We did a bunch of 10-minute poses and then a few 20-minutes, plus one long pose at the end. I dragged out a black Prismacolor Art Stix (how do you make that singular >:| ) for a couple of these, to fill in the shadows a little faster. I prefer these to charcoal ONLY because they don't smudge & smear (they're wax-based!) - honestly, I miss drawing with charcoal, but I can't stand getting that black dust everywhere!
Here are a few close-ups of the faces I drew, too, since I was particularly pleased with some of them. :) Enjoy!

For some reason, the second one is just jumping out at me as extraordinarily gorgeous. I think it's because it has a lot of similarities with traditional Japanese ink drawings and some iterations of manga art. <3

2016-10-20 23:26:54 +0000 UTCI grabbed something that I thought was a conte crayon last night, but I think it was chalk! I'll have to dig into my old college supplies, because I *know* I used to have some. :)
