Cowboy Fever

If you're not a patron, this will give you an idea of what I generally share with patrons here. :) I started taking my online character design course with Steven Silver last Monday, and our first assignment was due today. We were to create a cowboy/cowgirl character, utilizing a number of tips Silver went over in his video lessons, one of which was the golden mean (look it up!). This is something I should've known about years ago. I'm trying to draw mostly male characters for this class, as I've always had more trouble drawing men than I have drawing women. So I decided to go with Ol' Man Sharpshooter here. $1+ patrons received a glimpse of the final image, and $5+ patrons can call dibs on the original art for a chance to be picked at random and win it. Shipping (even if it's international!) will be on me! I'll continue to share glimpses of the work I'm doing in my classes, as well as sketches I'm doing outside of them, right here. :)
