2024-02-10 06:23:10 +0000 UTCHere's why the shells are flavored: Once you get the technique down, the usual method for eating them is sticking them in your mouth then cracking the husk and separating the seed with your tongue to swallow. The real professionals have one cheek full of unopened seeds and the other full of shelled seeds, they can eat 20-30 without using their hands. Also, sunflower seeds are a superfood... full of fiber, minerals, good for your heart, antioxidants, the list goes on...
