CAPTAIN SWANHANDS is a pretty straightforward roleplaying game - classic really, almost derivative - that asks the question "What if you had swan heads and necks instead of arms?" and then also asks the question "And what if you had to hold down an office job with those aforementioned swan hands?"
Can YOU juggle the responsibilities of being a crime-fighting superhero whilst maintaining a healthy personal life? Probably not. But it'll be fun finding out.
(CAPTAIN SWANHANDS was originally named THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS but that sounded too much like right-wing propaganda, so we changed it. Unfortunately we didn't have a better name for it, but the new one is at least more accurate.)
I've been really taken with Jeeyon's work which focuses on contemplative, often disturbing or challenging, solo experiences which connect the player with the world around them. To that end I asked her to write some profoundly stupid shit with me, and I know she likes animals, so this seemed like an excellent fit. It was genuinely a pleasure to work with and get to know her, and it really reminded me of the power of connecting with other artists through this work.

Next month Xalavier Nelson and I are going to write a game about smuggling rare birds on a passenger jet. Gonna be good.
