We Need to Talk About RWBY... Again

So as most of you have probably known, I've been planning on releasing a series of video essays detailing the controversies surrounding RWBY and Volume 6. However, I have decided to compress most of these issues into a single video. After this, I'll be broadening my content to video essays on media as a whole, ideally on whatever piques my interest.

So for now, please enjoy this outline I've prepared for the video. This is very much subject to change, as I literally just typed this entire thing up.

         2. Yang in the romantic treatment of Blake, as well as their Semblances and the Beauty and the Beast story. (She is the Beast to Adam’s Gaston)

   1. The roles:
      1. Creator: Creates the art as a way to communicate with others.
      2. Audience: Absorbs the art and interprets it.
         1. The right to interpretation
         2. Different schools of thought:
            1. Auteur Theory
            2. Death of the Author
            3. Some combination of the two
            4. Or whatever the fuck else
      3. Critic: Evaluates art, either subjectively or objectively, and gives feedback so Creator can create art more efficient at communication.
      4. Anyone can be one or multiple of these roles, especially with the advent of online media. In fact, it’s best if most people are at one point each of these roles as to help us better connect and empathize.
