Reveal settlement maps to players when using VTT?

EDIT: It's 'especially cities' and not 'epsecially cities' in the second option. I apologize to the renowned and honorable epsecially cities for needlessly mentioning them in this poll :)

With no adventuring generally taking place in the city, it seems like unnecessary work to have a fog of war type setting

2024-02-06 01:25:00 +0000 UTCEither option 1 or 2 would work for me. I don't know what you have in mind for Option 2, but I'd like to be able to reveal individual locations as they are discovered--kind of like revealing rooms in the dungeons.
