Settlement maps are coming! "Powered by..."

Greetings Brave Adventurers!

Our recent poll results are conclusive - adding settlement maps to Hexroll is now my first priority.

Well.. I have good news and.. more good news :)

The goods news is that I have started working on this. The other good news is that thanks to Oleg Dolya (a.k.a Watabou), this will be coming faster than I previously expected.

I reached out to Oleg the other day and received his go-ahead to integrate Fantasy City Generator and Village Generator with Hexroll.

The integration is going to happen on the server-side. This is to keep any generated Hexroll sandbox iframe-free, hermetic, downloadable, and usable offline. This might also mean longer generation times, but I think its going to be worth it :)

I plan to make this experimental feature accessible to Patreons-only until I can evaluate the implications on our servers performance.

I'm also planning a live Ask Me Anything session for our Patreon community sometime in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for this one.
