Greetings everyone!

I just wanted to check in, I’ve been frantically working on some very exciting projects… the photo above is a hint…plus I’ve just landed in London to revealing a new showbiz collaboration this week when I present an award at the Oliviers. I am very excited, because it already feels like ages since the tour ended 😆

Let’s see what else can I say, oh, I had a very exciting afternoon the other day, I don’t have any pictures to prove it, but John Galliano came over

to my house to peruse my corset collection. Apart from meeting backstage after his glorious, most glamorous, most decadent, most important fashion shows of all time, I’ve never really spent time with him apart from the frenzy of fashion shows. It was an absolute delight to spend the afternoon with him. I’m sure most of you know that he is sober now, and in great form. I was very happy I got a chance to tell him how much it meant to me to be embraced by him, and say how much I appreciated all the things he did to make me feel special at Dior and at Galliano. I have a great story about one of the grandest gestures I’ve ever been lucky enough to receive. (Sometimes I think I should just do videos where I do a little storytelling because there’s so many outrageous stories I keep thinking of! For instance, the other night, I went to see Depeche Mode, and was reminded of the time that Martin Gore sang acappella in a small room to me and Catherine D’Lish, not only singing his songs, but songs like “Swing Low Sweet Chariot”, full volume, just for us. 😂)

But anyway back to the Dior story, there was a moment where I wasn’t sure what I was going to wear for my wedding all those years ago, and John sent several dresses from the AW04 collection which had all the girls carrying orbs and wearing the massive crowns on their heads. He sent those to the Dior store in Beverly Hills, and I just remember there were these big wood crates all lined up in the parking lot. They shipped these priceless gowns all the way to LA, gowns that were made to fit giantesses with gigantic platform shoes. The kinds of dresses that stand on their own. And then there was me struggling to get into them, probably climbing a little staircase to slip in and get swallowed by the dress. You know I’m only 5’4”.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have camera phones just yet, so we don’t have any pictures but we have great memories of two giddy showgirls freaking out over these dresses. And the other thing about these Dior haute couture looks, they all are housed in an undisclosed secret location somewhere in France. It was really something.

Anyway, I had a great time with him, and his partner, Alexis, who was always the one who dressed me in Dior and Galliano. We had a laugh about how I should have kept every dress I ever wore, but of course, I said I wouldn’t steal, but I was bold enough to ask about keeping several pieces, which I wear over and over, 15 years later.

Anyway, that’s all for now, stay tuned for more updates! As soon as I have permission to give you a preview of what I’m working on, I surely will.
