Many of you will know him as the photographer who famously took the beautiful photographs of Marilyn Monroe in bed. It was his very first photo assignment as a young man, and Marilyn famously dismissed everyone in the room, and said “I need to be alone with this boy.” If you haven’t read about the story, you might like to!
Here are the beautiful photos he took of me, and, of course, when he asked me to pose topless, I immediately obliged, despite the concerns of the PR people present. I knew I was being photographed by one of the most legendary photographers ever.
My heart goes out to his wonderful wife. I feel so fortunate to have had this incredible experience of meeting him, of being photographed by him, and hearing his stories from him about his day with Marilyn. 🖤
