Added 2017-02-20 22:54:59 +0000 UTCGotten an urge lately to do some stories involving old fashioned Irish myths and legends and the like for upcoming St. Paddy's Day, so opening up a single slot to allow for some old fashioned fun.
Want to encounter a fae willing to give you your dearest wish in exchange for their freedom? Perhaps capture a lovers attention or get revenge? Best watch out, the fae are odd creatures and their idea of giving you what you wish for can be oh so twisted.
Perhaps you are alone on a warm spring night, passing down a darkened path drunk from a visit to the local tavern. As you stumble past a stream glittering in the moonlight you see a horse saddled and grazing on the shore, almost as if it's begging you to mount it...
Maybe you've found a monster summoned to some distant castle, stirring and wishing sacrifice, desiring to have you in its hold.
Or even a bet with a strange gentleman in the pub, his eyes seem almost gold in the right light and his ears tapered. He bets something strange and impossible, making you laugh, of course you reply in kind... It's only when you lose that you realize that he's going to take exactly what he's asked for...
