Sarsparilla (song)
Added 2021-07-29 02:33:08 +0000 UTCFor the past couple years I have been stock-piling song demos for some future album that I keep putting in THE FUTURE. Well, the advice I always give new cartoonists is to just start finishing comics so you can get better by doing. It's time to take my own advice with music and start finishing. I have a good some 30-40 song demos on my hard drive and I've been going through them and picking my faves to flesh out into fulling mixed songs. This short one is going to be the first track on the album. I like how it turned out. Anyway, you folks are going to be the first to hear the songs as I finish them.

The taste is similar but ever so much more so, way more sticky sweet and syrupy. I couldn't finish half a can much less a six pack. (Which was a letdown because I was anxious to try it after reading the Ray Bradbury short story "A Scent of Sarsaparilla.")

2021-07-29 23:33:31 +0000 UTCYeah, I'd buy that. Love the finger pick'ish guitar finish on each phrase. There's some humor to be had making fun of the spelling. Take that suggestion with a grain of salt though. My wife and I regularly argue about Mascarpone, Worchestershire, and whether pirates say Arrrr or Arggh (Charlie Brown style, but apparently also Treasure Island, so I lost that fight).
