Harmony Girls v0.5 Development Update #7
Added 2025-04-21 15:55:16 +0000 UTCThings were on a roll last week, with a lot of writing and still renders finished. I've finished a lot of the writing, but have a significant amount of still renders left to do before I finish up on the narrative for this update. I also made some minor changes to Hazel and rerendered her portraits. I'm happy with how she's turned out and I think she'll be a great addition to the game. This week I'll start with finishing the still renders for the vents I've written and probably finish the writing for the update. As far as the writing is concerned, I want to give a little backstory for our new character and so the next section contains major SPOILERS.
I finished a series of events that will actually lock Lily out of progressing other events for a short amount of time. Lily will face the consequences of her actions when Sara discovers what she's done. This is the first time Lily will face some serious adversity, and Sara will only forgive her if she meets with her therapist for help controlling her impulses. In the effort of acknowledging her problems and wanting to change in addition to salvaging her friendship with Aiden, Lily agrees. Which leads to the introduction of Hazel, the therapist who has helped Sara and will be helping Lily for a number of events in the future. As those events unfurl, we'll get to know a little about Hazel's personal life as she gradually becomes more important in Harmony Girls.
And that's where I'll leave the story for today. I'll be creating a minor poll today to give a name to the strip club, just like the poll to name the bar.
