Harmony Girls v0.4.55 Supporter Release

This has been updated from version v0.4.5 and includes the major sandbox changes I've recently finished. It's possible there are bugs, and likely that there may be some location or outfit inconsistencies. If you find any, please let me know, ideally in the Discord where communication is easier. I've also added an experimental Android build. I don't have any Android devices, so it's only been tested with an emulator. If you're interested in the changelog, you'll find it below the download links.

Sandbox rework changes introduced in v0.4.55:
Map navigation has been removed
Top menu has been overhauled
Character interaction is now done through the top menu
Characters can only be interacted with once per day
Actions are now performed through the top menu and now have a render for each
Sex Events are now accessed through the top menu
Time management has been reworked to remove days of the week and time locked requirements
Many new locations have been added
Hint system has been reworked and will now provide quite useful hints for progression
New outfit for Aiden when he's at the gym
Gym outfits have also been updated for Lily and Claire and they'll wear them in the gym
Added a new pose for Lily when talking on the phone
Updated Lily's old conversations when texting or on the phone to use the new portraits
PoV switches now have a notification to clarify whose PoV we're watching
This version includes the animation format update, which is the single largest change to the game I've made, so I expect there to be some bugs. If you find one, please let me know in discord or by sending me a message.
Your persistent data in the gallery will unfortunately be wiped with this new version of Ren'Py the game is using. I'm including a persistent save file with the gallery unlocked if you don't want to manually unlock everything again. The instructions for the save file are located in the README.txt file located in the folder.

I don't have a native android device but the dreams appear to be working with this latest build in the emulator. Can you download and install it again and give it a try?

2025-01-09 18:10:49 +0000 UTCYou might be surprised the different ways you could go. For less render time I could have a different guy for each outfit, so you'd get three different looking guys. I probably wouldn't render 3 different guys for each outfit (for 9 total renders) since that would honestly take forever, even with my GPU. But doing it this way could add a lot of variety. And thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you're enjoying the game!

You do you though. I was just giving my feedback. Everything else is good though. Minigame is nice, scenes are actually well done, the characters don't look scary af. You're really talented. I wish you luck π€

2024-12-06 04:53:55 +0000 UTCI'm no longer concerned about the file size as the game was just reduced from 2.5GB to 800MB as part of the animation rework. The main thing it would take now is render time, which is something I'm willing to deal with. I just want to think through some ways of implementing it or expanding on the idea. I'd previously thought about adding something like this is the past but file sizes didn't make it feasible. Now that idea can come back on the table.

If you're worried about file size, I completely understand and respect that. But I honestly feel like it's not a huge deal tbh. Most renpy porn games I've played goes into the 3gb+ margin. Considering the current size of the game, I don't think adding new skin colors would really increase it. Maybe make it a gb and a half, almost 2?

Now that my file sizes are much smaller due to the animation rework, it's something I'll revisit and brainstorm to think of ideas.

It's sorta immersion breaking to see the same people over and over, when they're supposed to be "different". If it's too much trouble, I think just changing the colors of the current males would be enough. Maybe have it random. So lily might get a white guy, black guy, olive skin guy, etc.

2024-12-05 09:26:39 +0000 UTCYup that makes sense as to why your save files are gone. They're stored in your C:/ drive on Windows, but they're also stored in the game itself. If you actually boot up the old version of the game, it'll sync your save files with your C:/ drive. You can then open the new version and you'll have access to them. That's if you don't want to play all over again. I also updated the download links since I left the testing label active which breaks the game when starting fresh.

2024-12-05 04:47:32 +0000 UTCThanks for the help! I have got a new PC, but the game was stored on an external HDD, maybe something to do with the new PC has wiped the saves. No big deal, I have just been playing through again and having fun with the game :)

2024-12-05 00:47:51 +0000 UTCNormal saves shouldn't have been wiped, only the gallery save data. You can copy the save data over manually to the new version from the old game by going to the HarmonyGirls/game folder and copying the save folder to the newest version. Changing harddrives of reinstalling an OS will wipe the save data in its normal location, but the game stores a separate set of save data in the game itself.
