Cindy x Noctis #1 (2017) - 3D Remake!

The night before the boys are due to leave for Altissia, the sprightly Grease Monkey Goddess Cindy - hoping to get the ever-insular Prince of Lucis to open up - invited Noctis to to the Hammerhead garage to try and get to know him.

After managing to put the morose Prince at ease with her bright an unwavering charm, the pair would go on to talk on the hood of the Regalia for an hour - about family, obligations, expectations, and of course - engines and fishing.

Finding something of themselves in each other, and a confidante who sees past the surface of each other's public facing persona, the conversation would spark into a passionate tryst under a lone, scorching work light casting deep, secretive shadows over the royal vessel - and would begin an affair that would only grow as the Prince and his retinue continued their travels through Eos - with the ever-dependable Princess of Hammerhead always ready to lend her Prince her support...

First, thank you to our boi Water on Discord for allowing a "dealer's choice" with his Deputy Commission reward for this month, which gave me an opening to do something I've wanted to do for a long time - remake my OG Cindy x Noctis art!

In case you don't know, before I ever did 3D renders, I tried my hand at being a 2D artist starting waaaaaay back in 2017 - before I was even NeroXLIV and still going by Nero44, that's how old it is - and one of the first things I drew was this:

Cindy and Noctis is like my one actual "ships" (and maybe Femshep & Wrex... and Ichigo and Rukia but now we're getting into the weeds...).

I love these two as a pairing, and FF15 in general is one of my all time favourite games and is probably my favourite Final Fantasy game, even though most people tend to disregard it and it never got the love that I thought it deserved.

Anyways, these old Cindy x Noctis pictures were more or less the first "series" I ever made, featuring Noct and Cindy having a sneaky affair. At the time I did my best, but I was never as good at 2D as I am at 3D, and so I've always wanted to go back and remake the pictures to reflect the vision I had for them in my mind at the time.

Hell, I would like to turn each one into it's own comic, but it's been my experience that this pairing doesn't tend to do very well so we'll see if there's enough interest. Maybe if this one does well I'll expand on it! But either way, I will probably continue to remake the other 2D pictures regardless just because it feels really satisfying to me personally.
