"New" OC - Kaji (Bleach)

Admittedly, this one's for me.

Referenced back when I made Cynthea, this OC actually predates any of my characters by years, including Viola - This guy comes from all the way back to 2008. It's my old Bleach Isshindensetsu RP character, Kaji. I tweaked him a bit to account for almost 20 additional years having passed since then.

Zanpakuto: Homusubi (lit. 'He who starts fires')

Shikai Release: "Reduce it to ash, Homusubi". Charred Katana wreathed in flame. A higher energy output equates to higher temperatures. The hotter the fire, the further and more powerful the sword's ranged attack becomes. Base/Yellow flames will cause a 'tail' on every swing, extending it's range and causes additional 3rd degree burns. At a white flame heavy swings can launch a powerful ranged attack. At full output, the blade's flames become blue and it's heat is so focused it can easily cut anything short of another Captain's bankai in half even without a full power swing.

Bankai Release: "Bankai... Reduce everything to ash, Kagutsuchi Homusubi!" / Charred Katana form w/ additional high-intensity "ghost" blades each at a different temperature/ability much like Shikai - except they are all active at the same time and can be controlled and used either in-hand or with gestures.

At Kaji's current peak strength, if fully released without any restraint, the heat generated by the Bankai immediately causes all structures and everyone below the strength of a high-ranking Lieutenant within a 1km to spontaneously combust without consideration for friend or foe.

Wielded one at a time or dual-hand, each individual ghost blade has a unique ability or purpose. When all blades are fused together they form the bankai's ultimate form; a single odachi of pure white plasma which has no unique abilities, however it is near-weightless - and thus has unrivalled speed - and given the Kenpachi's unparalleled spiritual energy, it has the ability to cut through literally anything, including the Bankai forms of every other Captain in the Gotei 13.

Its energy can be expended in the form of a single laser-quick energy blast (Owari, lit "The End"), but it is speculated that at this point, the Kenpachi's energy output is so great that this raw attack could detonate with the same amount of thermal energy as a hydrogen bomb. As such, it has only ever been used once, and it was far earlier in Kaji's career, before he became Kenpachi and before it reached such explosive potential.
