First of all, I'm really really sorry that this one took as long as it did. A little further down I'll explain all the goings-on in the Nero household, just for the sake of transparency. But - Keelah! That's a heckin' Quarian if I ever did see one! Love me some Tali, so this one was a blast, and I think it turned out great!

Now, the blahblah part. I'll try to summarize it as succinctly as I can -

I used to have a home office that I used for work, it was my little getaway where I could focus. I'm a night person, so I do the bulk of my best work late at night and sleep during the day while Mrs Nero is at school or work, then spend the evenings together.

6 months or so ago, my Sister in law (who is pregnant with twins) and her wife moved over from the UK with us. Since it's the right thing to do, I gave up my office for them to use as a nursery and moved my office into the corner of our bedroom.

At the time, Link (my 10 month old doggo) had his crate on the main floor, but as this started causing issues with so much activity, we also moved him into the bedroom.

Mrs Nero wasn't affected by me doing my work in here at night, she slept through it. Link... not so much. It's about a 60-40 split on whether he wakes up and torments Mrs Nero.

On top of all this, Sister-in-law is due to give birth to her twins this week. On top of THAT, my father-in-law who also lives (and lived with us beforehand) with us so we can afford to live in Toronto... was laid off.

Oh and Mrs Nero is in the last semester of a 4 year program and is working on her thesis, which is a ton of work and stress...

So as you can imagine, with all that combined, it's been really hard to buckle down and focus on work. That's not fair to you guys. I'm trying to be better about it, even though it doesn't seem like those stressors are going away anytime soon.
