Kickstarter Incoming
Added 2020-12-20 15:47:01 +0000 UTCHey everyone! In case you don't follow our social media, I'm going to be running a kickstarter campaign soon for the Lospec Gallery. I'm very appreciative of all patrons, and it has allowed Lospec to continue as I wouldn't be able to afford it out of pocket. Over a year ago I quit my job to focus on Lospec full time. I've made a lot of good improvements to the site since, including a lot of what would be needed for a gallery, but now I'm running out of funds, and don't make enough from Patreon to keep going. So this kickstarter is kind of a last-ditch effort, if it's successful I'll be able to keep working on Lospec long enough to see the gallery finished, and it will hopefully help spread the word and get people excited.
You are all so generous and I don't expect you to donate a second time, I am simply letting you know. The kickstarter will have a few rewards like shirts, posters, stickers, postcards, etc, so if you want to donate to it even if it meant cancelling your patreon pledge, that would be perfectly fine. The money is all going to the same place so it's up to you.
The patreon will not be going away, and I still hope for it to become enough to fully support Lospec development some day.
I'm hoping to launch the kickstarter in early January, so keep your eyes peeled!
