Yeah, Delilah needed to go down. Simply too dangerous. I'm glad they dumped her body in the acid too, given her necromantic capabilities, having the body around seems unwise. I think Keyleth's reaction has more to do with her own stress level at all of the responsibilities she's supposed to live up to than any feeling towards Vax. She clearly has a connection with him.
