1) More stable! He is now less likely to fall over while posing him. (I decided to make this change as I was trying to pose him for photos, and he kept falling overπ) He will still fall if you spin his head all the way around...so don't do that, haha.
2) Slightly improved printability. A handful of patrons had some issues with failures while printing the neck. I'm not sure how much these changes will help since I have been fortunate not to get a single failure on my test prints. These changes are still no substitute for GOOD ADHESION.
3) Easier neck painting in AMS. This really only matters if you want to do something different than my supplied AMS file.
*No changes have been made to the head parts or stand. AMS files are updated with the latest changes.

Since of the release of my first skeleton Dino, the T-Rex... the raptor has been a daily request! I definitely had some design hurdles to consider with this character, since it does have a more upright posture.
I am excited about the end result with the pop-on head. Not only does the mouth open, it gives the head a better range of motion, which it a lot of fun to pose :)
Something I really liked about the Jurassic park movies, was how the Velociraptors always had a mischievous look and were ready to cause all kinds of trouble... I think I pulled it off. π
Happy Printing -Dan

I print with 3 walls, 15% infill/gyroid, .12 or .16 layer height for quality.
As usual. make sure you have good adhesion, especially for the mini versions. I always use a glue stick.
I test printed between 40% and 175% for this design. Consider high quality materials and settings, the smaller you go. I recommend no smaller than 60% for strength and durability.
