With so many great trolls out there, from Frozen to the Trolls movie... it can be a challenge to make something unique and super fun. Challenge accepted. 😉
This one was a blast to create. Like with all of my characters I work hard to give them personality, and I couldn't be happier with that toothy expression.
I tested between 150% and 30% for this model to see how small it can go, stand and still hold the club...and it works!!! Of course the smaller you go, the weaker the links and club can become. 35% seems to be the sweet spot for keychains, if you decide to add loops or holes.
I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed creating it. It's almost FRIYAY...happy printing -Dan
Print tips and Info:
- STL and 3MF files are included. * If you use the 3mf file, please remember that it is a painted project file for your convenience. You must check your material/printer/settings to make sure it works correctly for your printing project.
- Consider mirroring the model in the slicer (and club) for a fun alternative print. That is how i printed the "twins" above.
- I print with 3 walls, 15% infill/gyroid, .12 or .16 layer height for quality.
- Gradient PLA works well with this Print-in-place model
- 1st photo - 100% 3m file printed in: Bambulab Matte Sakura Pink, Cookiecad Mint Chip, and eSUN Brown PLA+

- 2nd photo - 80% mirrored printed in: Paramount 3D Medusa Stone Gray, Amolen Red/Gold, and I keep these two for my whites and blacks on hand at all times... Bambulab White Marble and Bambulab Onyx Black Sparkle
- 3rd photo - 70% printed on the Bambulab A1 Mini: Creality PLA+ Rainbow (I printed each one separately to go through the colors)
