Important Patreon Changes!

Greetings everyone! I want to update you on some changes made in relation to my Patreon.

I am having a reset of sorts. I highly recommend you read this as I find it quite important.

Switch to Subscription Billing

I have switched over to subscription billing. This is beneficial for new members or those looking to renew. Subscription billing means you'll be charged on the day you subscribe, as opposed to Monthly billing which is on the 1st of each month.

Subscription is better than Monthly billing as new subscribers end up double charged despite less than an entire month passing.

Patreon Tier Changes

I've decided to create a new tier with all features included. It is named "Protagonist". I chose this name because as it represents my view of you. Huge supporters for me and in a leading cause for my motivation.

Information about the new Protagonist tier:

• This tier includes - Early access, poll voting access, poll suggestion access, test content access.

• This is a NEW tier - Old tiers WON'T be touched BUT will be hidden permanently. This gives current members the option to keep things the same or change to the new tier.

• Priced at £3.50 - I came to this price as it seems like a reasonable middle ground.

This changes overall dynamics in terms of tiers:

• I think it is beneficial as it increases accessibility to bonus features for more people.

• The change will allow for more overall contribution to polls and also more variety as more suggestions will be submitted.

• It lessens the exclusivity aspect in terms of posts and content. It would be great if more people had access to everything. I'd like more people to have access to test content. More testers means more refined content.

• This will be the only tier that provides benefits.

Information for existing members:

If you are currently on the Contributor Tier - I recommend changing over to the new tier at some point as it is cheaper long term. (In terms of billing, according to Patreon the new price change will be reflected in the next month)

If you are currently on the Bestower and Benefactor Tier - I recommend remaining on the tier as it will be cheaper for you. Who doesn't like a good discount? I suppose this can be Legacy benefit. In terms of upgrading, Patreon should charge just the difference.

As I will be unpublishing the tiers, old tiers will be inaccessible after unsubscribing. If you decide to renew, the new tier will be the only tier available.

At the end of the day. It is completely up to you.
