Trixel+ Anniversary Month! (2025 Plans)

We launched Trixel+ just a few years ago, shortly after we began development on Restitched. It was originally a way to gather necessary financial support for the game and share updates with our community...

Over time, it has evolved into much more: a close-knit family of creatives and long-time supporters who have played a very important role in this journey. While words can’t fully express the impact you've had, we truly wouldn’t be where we are today without you!

We really enjoy sharing our developments with you. We believe great community projects are made great by being transparently created alongside the community, rather than just being created for them.

As a way to celebrate this special connection with our closest supporters, we host the Trixel+ Anniversary Month each year in October. It's all about sharing more of Restitched and offering news and goodies for both patrons and the broader community!

Free Trixel+ Giveaway

To celebrate with everyone, we'll be giving away a month of free trixel+ on our Discord and Twitter (X) accounts. These limited-slot invite links will go quickly, so keep an eye out for them!

This will be a great way for some of our younger supporters, hesitant subscribers, and regionally excluded community members to check out the development insights we've posted over the years!

New Wardrobe Key Art

Because the Wardrobe is such a special creative experience, it deserves to stand on its own as much as possible! With our testing and Demo plans now in the works, we've given the Wardrobe its very own official "Key Art" promotional image.

You'll likely see this used as the Steam thumbnail for the test, demo, or any announcements regarding the Wardrobe in general!

Big shout-outs to our 3D Animator, Luke (Saurus), and Graphic Designer, Halston!

Wardrobe Testing Starts

October will mark the start of our first Wardrobe Test phase! We're still wrapping up final development on necessary tasks, then pushing the build forward to be stripped down to its Wardrobe-only parts.

Note: the first phase of testing may be released without full functionality in saving/publishing support, as we're still working out unexpected last-minute issues related to these features. We expect to patch them in, should that be the case.

We'll share a public announcement when the first invites begin rolling out this month.

Additionally, we'll later be publicly dropping extra invite keys for anyone to redeem. So don't worry if you later see you haven't been chosen yet!

Wardrobe Test Contest

For those participating in the Wardrobe Test, we'll eventually be hosting a small contest to create a stylish new outfit according to a set theme. The winner will have their outfit converted to a proper base game preset for future players to wear!

Wardrobe Gameplay Video

While testers might get their hands on the Wardrobe soon, we'll also be preparing a new public gameplay video! This demonstration of the Wardrobe will be captured from a slightly different developer build with more content unlocked.

As always, plans are subject to change throughout the month as we fit everything in and manage our free time to prepare these goodies!

Restitched: Limited Edition Plushies Reveal

We've had a batch of very special, official, and limited-edition Stuffy plushies made this year! This month, we plan to reveal them in more detail and showcase some of the creative process behind producing them. They're absolutely awe-dorable, and we can't wait to show you how they turned out!

We aren't quite ready to make them publicly available/for sale yet, but we'll share plans for distribution in the future when we're able to.
