Restitched: From the Vault | Spider Enemy Concepts
Added 2025-02-24 14:00:04 +0000 UTCAs you've probably seen in our recent screenshots and the official trailer, one of our basic enemy types is the Spider!
Early in their conceptualization, we explored different looks for them. However, we ultimately chose to go for a more crafty look. We felt the button eyes made it look more threatening, whereas the normal eyes made it look friendly and a bit too cute.
Here's how it looks in-game:
This is a new area for us, so we still have plans to polish this enemy model. We feel there's more that could be done with its look, including possible variants with different health or behavior.
