Restitched: Trailer 2 (Original Edit)

For the "Restitched: Official Trailer," we pitched a much longer original edit to the team. This first draft uses alternate and additional clips that were either changed or removed by the final version.
The opening moments are largely the same, and the overall structure hasn't changed. However, you'll notice there were no sound effects, the music is cut differently (more montage beats in the wardrobe section), extra footage is shown, etc.
When the team saw the first version, our various feedback shaped it into the final result. We felt that the trailer was far too long in the first edit, the music droned on in some sections, and we were using clips that had awkward timing or were too similar to the other clips before/after. As such, we shuffled things around, re-cut some footage, and breathed a bit more 'liveliness' into it by using in-game sound effects!
