'The Grandiose Tales of Cpt. Stuffy' - Coming 2025

We’re excited to announce that The Grandiose Tales of Cpt. Stuffy is nearly complete and slated for a standalone release next year!

You'll be able to grab it as a digital download or be one of a few physical print recipients.

Cpt. Stuffy tells a charming tale of siblings Charlie and Eloise Dior as they embark on imagined adventures with their new Stuffy plushies. Throughout the 30+ pages, you’ll spot clever nods to the Restitched universe—like the Stitch & Stuffy store and character cameos... but the comic's appeal stands on its own!

Many of our trixel+ subscribers are already familiar with Cpt. Stuffy, a small monthly benefit that originally began as a fun story rooted in the fictional universe of our upcoming game Restitched. It started as a passion-driven project by a few Restitched team members — artists, writers, and designers...

Over time, Cpt. Stuffy has taken its own identity with unique lore and characters. It’s become more important than just an extra Patreon perk for us.

As we neared the completion of Issue #1 last year, it became clear that readers would benefit more from a full story arc rather than scattered pages and issues on Patreon. So, we’ve expanded the scope to ensure it stands out as a more complete and approachable project of its own.

This effort included rethinking the original direction of the story, tying it with Restitched and the Stuffy we all know, and giving it a minor facelift with an updated logo and its own imagery!

We understand many of you are awaiting Restitched and might not be ready (or interested) in diving into a spin-off of any kind. That’s why we’ve worked hard to make it a unique experience. Whether you’re a fan of Restitched or just looking for a fun and lighthearted read, it's something for anyone who enjoys comics or visual short stories!

We hope that by reading the complete tale from start to end, you'll come to adore the characters as much as we have while creating them.

We'll share more details on its full release in the future. Until then, trixel+ subscribers will continue to receive new pages as soon as they're available! The full release of the comic will feature unique artwork, updated panels, inconsistency fixes, and more that are not currently available through Patreon.
