Trailer #2 - What do you hope to see?
Added 2024-09-07 12:35:26 +0000 UTCWhat do you look forward to seeing in the next Restitched trailer?
We have a pretty clear idea of what we want to show, and we're still ironing out how exactly we want to present it. This means prioritizing the development of certain tasks to ensure they're ready for when the time comes to capture that glorious new trailer footage.
It's also important that we hear from you directly, as you're a very prominent and important representation of the whole community!

Do you hope to see the trailer focus more on story elements? Stuffy as a character? Gameplay? Level editing? Character customization? Physics, sandbox gameplay, combat, or something else?
Let us know in the comments which parts of the game you'd like to see. Whether they've been revealed or speculated on, based on what you've seen in Recapped posts, or even what you wish for yourself -- all answers are welcome. :)

2024-09-10 22:12:04 +0000 UTCI'd like to see some level gameplay as well as level creation. Maybe creating a scene then playing through it

2024-09-07 20:30:47 +0000 UTCI think what I really love to see in trailers for sandbox games is how different elements interact with each other. So for example in the Super Mario Maker games, they showed how you can combine Koopa shells and ON/OFF blocks to create whole new level gimmicks. So I think it would be kinda cool if the trailer featured a lot of like, really clever combinations of hardware elements and materials and such that create fun obstacles and contraptions together. It really helps to give viewers a sense of what they will be able to create once the game comes out, you know?

2024-09-07 17:17:05 +0000 UTCi think a new trailer would really benefit from displaying more customization features like other commenters pointed out--but i think that it should obviously show off the more recent things that have been added, since not everyone who has watched the first trailer keeps themselves up to date on every single thing that's been added since then the trailer could also show how you all interact with the community and how to keep yourself up to date with the current progress of the game!

2024-09-07 14:27:38 +0000 UTCSeeing a showcase on the development of projects or the showing of potential future ideas in a sort of 'behind the scenes' preview would give me more of a sense of what I can expect and look forward to
